Light-S Candelilla REAL®

Euphorbia Cerifera (candelilla) Cera. Acts as a consistency agent. It is obtained from the wild euphorbia cerifera plant, which grows in the north of Mexico. In order to protect itself from the adverse weather conditions and to help retain water the candelilla plant creates a grayish powder to cover its surface. The powder created is mostly comprised of wax. It is a 100% natural protective wax, hard, stable and easily moldable. Provides shine too. It can harden other waxes without significantly increasing the melting point of the blend. In the cosmetics industry, due to its protective properties, it is indispensable for an important range of formulas used in the production of lipsticks, body lotions and hair care preparations.
