Bentonite. POLARGEL® CA by Minerals Technologies acts as a rheology modifier, viscosifier, binder, emulsion stabilizer and suspending agent. It is a selectively mined and specially processed, calcium montmorillonite clay. It is produced under cGMP manufacturing conditions. It absorbs oils and toxins from the skin. POLARGEL® CA is used in cosmetic mask formulations and in other formulas that contain high clay solids.
