Miconazole Nitrate USP

Miconazole Nitrate (100%). Miconazole Nitrate USP by McKinley Resources is an antifungal agent. It is topically applied to the skin or to mucous membranes and a skin condition knows as pityriasis (a fungal infection that causes lightening or darkening of the skin). It works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a critical component of fungal cell membrane. Miconazole Nitrate USP has some limited antibacterial properties. It is commonly used in feminine hygiene and skin creams.
