Azelaic Acid. MacDerma™ AZA by McKinley Resources acts as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, skin-lightening agent. Offers anti-bacterial benefit. It is a saturated dicarboxylic acid commonly derived from natural ingredients such as wheat, rye, barley and yeast. It is obtained by bacterial degradation of nonanoic acid. It reduces the appearance of skin discoloration, redness and other skin blemishes. MacDerma™ AZA is used in lotions, creams, moisturizers, anti-aging serums, facial cleansers, conditioners, shampoos, toners, astringents, foundations and concealers.
