Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine. Schercodine™ S (Flaked) amido-amine by Lubrizol is a cationic surfactant, emulsifier and conditioner. It is a flaked solid tertiary amine and replaces quaternary cationic surfactants in rinse-off conditioners. It lowers hair dry friction and provides excellent softness, wet combing and wet sensory properties. Schercodine™ S (Flaked) amido-amine is used in shampoos, conditioners and skin care preparations.
