Lauryl Lactate. Schercemol™ LL ester by Lubrizol is an emollient. It is based on alpha-hydroxy acid and offers skin renewal and cell regeneration. Because of its free hydroxyl group, it is dispersible in water. Moreover, it yields light, velvety emollient feel and is known to reduce the tackiness in roll-on antiperspirants. Schercemol™ LL ester is used in after-shave, colognes, antiperspirant/deodorant, body lotions/creams/gels, sunscreen, lipstick and sun care products.
