Chemonic™ LI-3 surfactant

PEG-3 Glyceryl Cocoate. Chemonic™ LI-3 surfactant by Lubrizol is a mild cleansing agent, foam enhancer and solubilizer. It is derived from coconut oil and used extensively as an amide formulating alternative. It works synergistically in combination with wide variety of surfactants to build excellent foam stability and flash foaming characteristics. It reduces irritation potential of alkyl sulfates and alkyl ether sulfates when used in conjunction with them. Moreover, it is used in skin care preparations as both emulsifier and emollient, with an HLB value of 7. (product} surfactant finds application in formulating shampoos, bath gels, liquid soaps, facial-, mild- & intimate cleansers, hand soaps and shaving products.
