Blackcurrant Pro

Blackcurrant Pro is an aqueous-glycerinic extract from organic black currant leaf (Ribes nigrum L., Grossulariaceae), preserved with potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate. Activity-proven, COSMOS- and NATRUE-certified extract belonging to the Herbasol® Pro line. Blackcurrant is a small deciduous shrub growing 1.5 meters in height with 3-5 lobed leaves and bunches of small, round purplish-black berries. It is a rich source of polyphenolic compounds in particular anthocyanins that are known to provide anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-microbial effects.
