Glyceryl Stearate. LAKTONE GMS by Lakeland Chemicals acts as a standard low HLB surfactant for water-in-oil emulsions. It is characterized by very low levels of toxicity and irritancy. Used as a co-emulsifier in oil-in-water creams along with a high HLB primary emulsifier. LAKTONE GMS is used in skin care, creams and lotions.
