FD&C Red No. 40 aluminum lake and isopropyl titanium triisostearate. RED 40AL-I2 by Kobo acts as an aesthetic enhancer and dispersant. Surface treated with isopropyl titanium triisostearate (ITT) treatment which has good skin affinity, reduces oil absorption of powders and greatly improves the dispersibility of powders in various organic vehicles. RED 40AL-I2 is a fine red powder insoluble in water. Applications in non-greasy cream-to-powders, lipsticks, liquid foundations, eye shadows and sun care formulations.
