- Functions as an emulsifier to mix water and oil, helping to form and stabilize emulsions in lotions, creams, hair products and other skin care and makeup formulations.
- Acts as a solubilizer and dispersing agent, enabling the even dispersion of insoluble ingredients in your formulation.
- Provides surfactant action in beauty products, lowering surface tension to ease rinsing of the product after use, for example in mascara and eyeliner formulations.
