Desamido Collagen. Acts as a moisturizing and protective active. It is derived from native insoluble collagen constituting the large part of the protein structure of I the bovine sub cutaneous connective tissue. The procedure allows the original protein molecule to maintain its integrity and particular functionality. It is an inexpensive alternative to native, soluble collagen. Protects against surfactant irritancy. Used soaps, syndets, milks, creams and lotions.
