SeraSol® SC 83-E

Cetyl PEG/PPG 10/1 Dimethicone. SeraSol® SC 83-E by KCC Basildon (Momentive) acts as a silicone emulsifier for W/O emulsion, for multiple emulsions (W/O/W) and as a co-emulsifier for O/W emulsions. It is a polysiloxane polyalkyl polyether block copolymer. The copolyol acts as the hydrophile whilst the alkyl modification offers the hydrophobic tail, with the silicone acting as the sandwiching layer that offers a pleasant light and silky feel to the W/O or W/Si emulsion. compatible with high levels of organic ingredients. It generates excellent freeze/thaw stability. It enables cold process manufacturing. SeraSol® SC 83-E is used in moisturizing skin creams, night creams, lotions, and foundations. It is available in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
