PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone. SeraSol® SC 80 by KCC Silicone acts as a co-emulsifier, foam stabilizer and styling resin plasticizer. It is a copolymer of polydimethylsiloxane and polyoxyalkylene ethers. Imparts lubricity and softness. It can be used to formulate clear products. It exhibits profoaming qualities helping to stabilize foam levels and provides soft and silky feel in shampoos. In addition, due to its hydrophilic and lipophilic groups it offers excellent properties as a co-emulsifier in skin care emulsion systems. It exhibits surfactant-like properties & works as hydrator and detackifier. SeraSol® SC 80 is used in antiperspirants, hand lotions, conditioners, roll-ons, creams, gels, shaving aids and hair sprays.
