SeraSoft® SW 70-E

Stearyl Dimethicone. SeraSoft® SW 70-E by KCC Beauty acts as an emollient, SPF booster and pro-foaming agent. It is a soft wax alkylated silicone. The alkyl modification makes it more compatible with organic ingredients. It forms a solid product and has potential pigment spreading and rheology modifying abilities. Furthermore, it melts onto the skin at 32°C for an excellent feel and improves SPF and spreading of the actives. It provides softness, non-greasiness and generates high gloss & shine due to its high refractive index. Moreover, it promotes lubricity & water barrier properties for the skin and acts as a de-tackifier in creams & lotions. It offers foam boosting properties in surfactant systems and can be easily incorporated into the oil phase of any emulsion. SeraSoft® SW 70-E finds application in formulating antiperspirants, deodorants, color cosmetics, skin-care and sun-care products.
