Tapioca Starch. FARMAL™ 21T by Ingredion acts as a moisture absorber, active carrier, sensory modifier, mattifying and bulking agent. It is a non-ionic, bio-based polymer derived from native tapioca starch. It is a non-irritating active carrier which can improve creaminess in soap bars. It is a direct replacement of talc. It provides powdery skin feel, flowability and spreadability. It is suitable for deodorants, facial cleansers, dry shampoos and bath products as well as baby-, body- and foot powders. FARMAL™ 21T can be used to enhance aesthetic and sensorial attributes in topical powders, color cosmetics, skin creams and lotions. The shelf life is 2 years.
