OXITAINE® CPG 30 CM

Cocamidopropyl Betaine. Acts as a surfactant, viscosity builder and foam booster\stabilizer. It is an alkyl amidopropyl betaine produced with hydrogenated coconut oil and contains glycerine. It contains CMIT/MIT as preservative. Promotes high foaming of formulations and are stable above pH 4. It is stable in both acid and alkaline formulations and are also stable in the presence of peroxide and hypochlorite. When formulated in slightly acid pH, the positive charge of nitrogen reduces the static charge and aids in substantivity, making the hair softer and easy to comb. Used in in shampoos, hand soaps & body washes.
