Hydro-glycolic solution of bovine placenta 4%. HYDRO-SOLUBLE PLACENTA by I.R.A. Istituto Ricerche Applicate acts as a film forming, moisturizing, protecting, restructuring and nourishing agent. Due to its high amino acid content, it is able to facilitate a marked improvement in cutaneous hydration, elasticity and turgor. Through the intrinsic properties of the molecular chains which distribute themselves uniformly on the stratum corneum, it forms a macromolecular film which reduces the inevitable water loss due to latent perspiration. This maintains epidermal cell humidity contributing to a healthy skin & pleasant complexion. Used in skin care products.
