Petrolatum. VARA A by Hywax is an emollient and consistency regulator. It is an ointment-like homogeneous mixture of hydrogenated, high-purity, predominantly saturated hydrocarbons. It protects skin from dehydration. It contains an antioxidant for stability. VARA A is used as base material for creams, ointments and hair care agents as well as the main constituent of skin care creams, baby care, hand-cleaning pastes, body lotions, hand and skin creams and eye make-up. It meets PAH, Ph.Eur. and ICH (CPMP/ICH/283/95) regulations.
