Zinc Oxide (and) Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (and) Polyhydroxystearic Acid. UV Cut ZnO-68-CG by Grant Industries is 68% dispersion of ultrafine zinc oxide in caprylic/capric triglyceride. Offers both UVA (320-400nm) and UVB (280-320nm) protection. It is naturally-derived emollient with superb smooth feel and transparency on skin. It is good solvent for organic sunscreens. It has excellent photo-stability, lower irritation profile compared to chemical sunscreen agents and provides a very high SPF efficacy per unit active due to the effective particle size reduction. It's stable viscosity and non-settling properties make it desired for the production process. It is used in both o/w and w/o emulsion formulas. UV Cut ZnO-68-CG is used in sun care, skin care, color cosmetic and hair care formulations.
