Dimethicone (and) Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Polysilicone-11 (and) Octyldodecyl Lactate (and) Water (and) Butylene Glycol (and) Decyl Glucoside. Gransil SiW-043 by Grant Industries is a silicone-in-water dispersion in dimethicone and cyclopentasiloxane (D5). It provides enhanced aesthetics to formulations (unique formula break upon application) and acts as stable delivery vehicle for active materials. It allows the addition of elastomers and powders into difficult formulating settings. Minimal or no additional emulsifier requirement; reduces possible irritation profile. It delivers excellent non-tacky, non-oily, smooth characteristics. It is designed for enhanced stability and formulation ease. Cold process compatible for energy/cost savings. It is mixed directly with aqueous phase at suggested levels. Its elastomer network offers sebum absorption and control. Also helps in transformation into matte appearance with powdery after feel. It is formulated into water systems at 60°C or below. It is added to all emulsion types for improved skin feel. Gransil SiW-043 is used in skin care, color cosmetic, sun care and hair care formulations.
