Granactive 1518 by Grant Industries is a specific peptide sequence (Pentapeptide-21) combined with selected amino acids. It reduces the level of pigmentation and skin damage that occurs to sun exposed skin. It inhibits enzymes responsible for hyper-proliferation, inflammation, and DNA damage in response to UV radiation. It has a lightning and brightening effect through the reduction of melanin and UV damage that leads to aged, dull looking skin. It can be formulated into oil-in-water emulsions, water-in-oil emulsions, and other formula types. Granactive 1518 is recommended for color cosmetic, skin-, and sun-care formulations.
