Butyl Acrylate/Hydroxypropyl Dimethicone Acrylate Copolymer. Granacrysil BAS by Grant Industries is a copolymer of silicone-grafted polybutylacrylate. It has a sufficient low glass temperature that it is a pourable polymer at room temperature. It enhances color adhesion on the skin (long-lasting property) and provides very good water repellency. It offers smooth and non-tacky feel. Granacrysil BAS is used in foundations, lipsticks, mascaras, eye-shadows and face powders.
