Isostearyl Alcohol (and) Boswellia Serrata Gum. Soothex™ ISA by Givaudan is a soothing agent. It is preservative free, improves skin barrier function and soothing properties. It is a solution of Boswellia Serrata Gum into Isostearyl Alcohol. It acts on the 5-lipoxygenase to inhibit the proinflammatory pathway for an immediate soothing effect and reduction of skin redness.
