Polyglyceryl-4 Oleate (and) Glyceryl Olivate (and) Hydrogenated Rapeseed Alcohol. gilsolide® EC by Gilas is a plant-derived silicon substitute, dispersing agent and non-polar emollient. It is a vegetable COSMOS and palm-free alternative to silicons, esters and squalane with very nice, non-greasy skin feel. It is a mix of vegetable components derived from food grade Brassica Campestris (Rapeseed) seed oil and Olea Europea (Olive) Fruit Oil. This ingredient imparts dry & silky textures, moisturizing properties and spreadability. It is highly stable against oxidation. It is compatible with lipophilic ingredients and UV filters. It is completely safe for topical use. gilsolide® EC is used in make-up, skin-, body-, hair- and sun care formulations.
