Synthetic Fluorphlogopite (and) Titanium Dioxide (and) CI 16035 (and) Tin Oxide. Geoflake® Crystal Salmon XL by Geotech is a non-toxic, sustainable, glittering mica flake for cosmetics. It is synthetic mica coated with titanium dioxide, FD&C red 40 alum lake and tin oxide. It shows a vivid glittering salmon effect. It is unique in narrow particle size distribution achieved by an innovative production process. It creates an optical effect that is similar to precision cut glitter. It is developed as an environmental friendly alternative for polyester glitter. It offers UV-, water-, solvent resistance and endless styling flexibility. It exhibits smooth skin and nails feel thanks to 2 micron thin particles. It is a pathogen-, PET- and plastic-free grade. Geoflake® Crystal Salmon XL finds application in hair styling-, shower-, skin- and eye shadow gels as well as lipstick-, lip balm-, lacquer- and lip gloss products. It is also applicable in shampoos, loose powder, nail (external) and rinse-off applications.
