Iron Oxides (98-99%) (and) Dimethicone PEG-3 Laurate (1-2%). Gelest Yellow Iron Oxide ML by Gelest acts as a pigment wetting agent. It is a maximum loading surface treatment pigment that utilizes a hydrophobic siloxane with an embedded polar segment that disrupts particle-particle interaction. The combination of alkyl and polyethylene glycol functional groups is balanced to maximize wetting in non-polar oils. It provides high pigment loading, low absorption, water repellency and improved compressibility. It offers maximized color intensity and low viscosity dispersion properties. Gelest Yellow Iron Oxide ML is recommended for powder cream formulations, pencils, cream- and stick eye shadows.
