Butylene Glycol Cocoate (and) Ethylcellulose (and) Isostearyl Alcohol. Emulfree® CBG MB by Gattefossé is an emulsifier, cooling and refreshing agent. Textures directly inspired by water can create cosmetic formulations offering users an instant feeling of enhanced moisturization. This unique ingredient imparts a refreshing, long-lasting sensation of coolness upon application. It forms a bi-gel, without any surfactant. When applied to the skin, the bi-gel structure breaks down to release the two phases. A fine oily layer stays on the skin while a fraction of the water evaporates. This PEG- & emulsifier-free, non-animal ingredient offers easy spreading, quick break effect, refreshing melting sensation and water resistant properties. It provides ultra light, fresh texture, light residual film and non-greasy, non-tacky after-feel. Emulfree® CBG MB is used in shower & bath, after-shave lotions & creams, skin-, sun- & men care, creams, lotions & gels and eye contour formulations.
