Glyceryl Behenate. Compritol® 888 CG ATO by Gattefossé is a wax/consistency factor. It is a multi-functional texturizing agent for successful skin care and make-up products. It gives body to emulsions and anhydrous gels, but can also bind with powders and pigments for surprising results. It offers excellent binding and lubrication properties. It builds viscosity and increases heat stability. It enables the creation of ultra-soft and non-tacky opaque anhydrous gels. It is a non-irritant, odor-free and colorless ingredient. This non-animal & vegetal origin ingredient offers non-greasy and powdery after-feel benefits. Compritol® 888 CG ATO is used in facial care: moisturizing products (creams & lotions), anti-aging preparations, night creams, anti-acne & shine control products, masks, eye care gels & creams), body care: massage products, moisturizing products (creams & lotions), slimming preparations, hand creams & lotions and baby care: moisturizing & treatment products. Also, used in hair conditioners & hair gels, eye shadows, foundations & concealers, powders & blushes, eye liners, eye pencils, lipsticks & glosses, mascaras, men care, eye contour and creams, lotions & gels.
