Octocrylene. SoleClat™ OC (Octocrylene 98%) by Flychem is a high-performance sunscreen agent and UV filter solubilizer. It absorbs UVB and some UVA rays, providing broad-spectrum and long-lasting sun protection. It stabilizes other UV filters like avobenzone, ethylhexyl salicylate and homosalate, preventing their degradation under sunlight. It exhibits water-resistant properties under moist and wet conditions.
  • It imparts smooth texture with a lightweight and non-greasy finish, improving the spreadability and sensory feel of sun care and daily wear products.
  • It exhibits emollient, moisturizing, hydrating and skin conditioning properties.
  • It helps prevent sunburn and minimizes signs of photoaging such as wrinkles and fine lines, making it suitable for anti-aging products.
  • SoleClat™ OC (Octocrylene 98%) is recommended for leave-on products (moisturizers, lip balms and foundations), sunscreens, lotions, and BB creams with SPF.
  • It is well-tolerated by most skin types and is approved by the FDA and the EU.
  • It has a shelf life of 24 months.
