SIPERNAT® 500 LS by Evonik is a carrier, absorbent, rheology additive and anti-caking agent. It is finely ground silica incorporated through low/medium shear mixer. It offers low drying loss and high absorbency. Moreover, it increases the structure of lipstick and lip balm formulations that can limit and prevent both sweating and thermal distortion. It forms active absorbate and powder to creamy formulations. SIPERNAT® 500 LS finds application in formulating personal care products. Recommended use-by date is 24 months after date of manufacture.
