C15-19 Alkane (and) Dimethiconol. MIRASIL™ N-DML 15 by Elkem Silicones is a high-performance silicone gum blend of high molecular weight in a bio-based carrier. It provides sensory enhancement, conditioning, and frizz control for a broad range of personal care applications.
  • It is non-volatile and its highly renewable content makes it ideal for creating sustainable products without compromising on performance.
  • It offers similar benefits to silicone gum blends in synthetic carriers but with a high natural index and renewable content to meet demand for eco-friendly products.
  • It is suitable for use in beauty care products to provide smooth, silky and lubricious feel to skin and hair.
  • It confers antistatic effect to hair with water repellency.
  • It is versatile and can be used in cold processing to create a variety of product such as serums, creams, lotions and gels.
  • It improves shine, frizz control, detangling & thermal protection for hair care, as well as imparting softness and even coverage.
  • MIRASIL™ N-DML 15 is used in water resistant skin care (body lotion and creams), hair care (leave-on treatments and rinse-off conditioners), sun care (protection creams), antiperspirant & deodorant and makeup (lipstick and lip gloss).
  • It has a shelf life of 36 months.
