It is non-animal origin and extracted from the seeds of the Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) plant through a mechanic extrusion process. It exhibits good pigment wetting properties. It offers good spreadability and richness. It provides natural luster, substantivity and emollient feeling to hair care products. It improves skin moisturization and imparts a cushion feeling to the skin. It is liquid at room temperature regardless of its high molecular weight. It is effective against heat breakdown and is resistant to oxidation. FANCOR® MEADOWFOAM SEED OIL is used in lipstick, makeup, shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion, skin cream, styling aids and bath products. It has a shelf life of 2 years. It is approved by Ecocert Greenlife in accordance with the COSMOS standard.
