Meadowfoamamidopropyl Betaine. BETAFAN-M by Elementis is a non-animal origin surfactant based on high molecular weight betaine with a significant level of unsaturation. It offers effective conditioning in surfactant and non-surfactant systems. It causes less defatting of the skin as compared to other conventional betaines. It is very stable, mild and causes less irritation. It is used in shampoo, body wash, baby products, bath foam and shower gel. BBETAFAN-M has a shelf life of 3 years.
