BENTONE HYDROCLAY™ 900

Hectorite and Hydroxyethylcellulose. BENTONE HYDROCLAY™ 900 by Elementis is a non-animal, non-irritant & non-abrasive rheological additive based on organically modified hectorite clay. It increases the viscosity of aqueous phase and stabilizes viscosity on aging at varying temperature under different shear conditions. Provides suspension control, reduced phase separation and syneresis. It offers smooth and silky feel. It is compatible with synthetic resin dispersions such as polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl propionate, polyacrylics and their copolymers & with polar solvents including alcohol and glycol. BENTONE HYDROCLAY™ 900 is designed for oil in water & water in oil emulsions, creams, lotions, antiperspirants, deodorants, color cosmetics, face packs, facial make-up, sun care and hair care products. Its shelf life is 4 years. It is a vegan grade.
