Quaternium-80 (and) Propylene Glycol. PEL-SIL™ Q-80 by Elé Corporation acts as an emollient, conditioning and anti-static agent. It is a linear quaternary organosilicone and is substantive to hair and skin keratin. It improves wet & dry combability, gloss and manageability of hair. In skin care products, it performs as a slip aid and imparts soft & smooth feel. It is non-greasy, decreases fly away, provides color retention and compatible with anionic surfactants. PEL-SIL™ Q-80 finds application in formulating shampoos, conditioners, lotions, semi-permanent hair dye products, body washes and liquid soaps. Meets TSCA, SARA 313, Canadian NDSL, WHMIS, EINECS, AICS, KECI and IECSC. It has a shelf-life of 24 months.
