It is an amino-functional dimethicone fluid, consisting of a dimethicone chain with pendant propyldiamine groups. It improves wet & dry combing, adds gloss, decreases fly away and offers soft feel to the hair. It is highly substantive and enhances color retention of semi-permanent hair dyes. Moreover, it shows anionic surfactant compatability. PEL-SIL™ AMOD finds application in formulating conditioners, shampoos, styling formulas and semi-permanent hair dye products. Meets TSCA, SARA 313, Canadian NDSL, EINECS, AICS, KECI and IECSC. It has a shelf-life of 24 months.
