PPG-5-Ceteth-10 Phosphate. PEL-PHOS™ SG by Elé Corporation acts as a thickener, emulsifier, solubilizer, gelling and conditioning agent. It is cetyl alcohol, alkoxylated and phosphated. It offers high molecular weight, weak anionic nature, self-preservation and mildness. It is useful for the adjustment of pH of both hair and skin cleansing products. Moreover, it acts as a buffer to stabilize pH. It improves wet combing, gloss, feel and manageability of dry hair. It is compatible with both cationic and anionic surfactants. It is not very hydrophobic and does not build up on the hair. When formulated with cationics, it provides viscosity enhancement to the formulations. PEL-PHOS™ SG finds application in formulating conditioning shampoos, styling formulas and skin cleansing products. Meets TSCA, Canadian DSL, ENCS, AICS, KECI and PICCS. It has a shelf-life of 36 months.
