Sorbitol TF

Sorbitol (=98%). Sorbitol TF by Ecogreen Oleochemicals is a protective agent, thickener and humectant. Sorbitol is a hexavalent sugar alcohol and is derived from the catalytic reduction of glucose. It is a fine-grained spray dried product. It lends consistency and prevents tooth decay. Also prevents suspensions, tinctures and medicinal liquors from drying out. Provides smooth and creamy texture. It is stable up to temperature of 180°C and is water soluble. It is relatively stable, at low & high pH and did not undergo any Maillard reaction (browning reaction). Shows preserving effect at higher concentrations. Sorbitol TF is used in creams, ointments, emulsions, dental care products, care chewing gums, toothpaste and mouthwashes.
