Sorbitol LGK - LC

Sorbitol (=72%). Sorbitol LGK - LC by Ecogreen Oleochemicals is a protective agent, thickener and humectant. Sorbitol is a hexavalent sugar alcohol and is derived from the catalytic reduction of glucose. It is a very low tendency to crystallizable sorbitol liquid. It lends consistency and prevents tooth decay. Also prevents suspensions, tinctures and medicinal liquors from drying out. Provides smooth and creamy texture. It is stable up to temperature of 180°C and is water soluble. It is relatively stable, at low & high pH and did not undergo any Maillard reaction (browning reaction). Shows preserving effect at higher concentrations. Sorbitol LGK - LC is used in creams, ointments, emulsions, toothpaste and mouthwashes. Certified from Kosher, Halal, ISO 9001 and RSPO SCC (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil Supply Chain Certification). Also available as 70% aqueous solution.
