Sorbitol LG

Sorbitol (=98%). Sorbitol LG by Ecogreen Oleochemicals is a protective agent, thickener and humectant. It is a crystallizing, hexavalent sugar alcohol and is derived from the catalytic reduction of glucose.

• It lends consistency and prevents tooth decay. It also prevents suspensions, tinctures and medicinal liquors from drying out.
• It provides smooth and creamy texture and is stable up to temperature of 180°C, at low & high pH and did not undergo any Maillard reaction (browning reaction).
• It exhibits preserving effect at higher concentrations.
• Sorbitol LG is used in creams, ointments, emulsions, toothpaste and mouthwashes.
• It is certified from Kosher, Halal, ISO 9001 and RSPO SCC (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil Supply Chain Certification).
• It is also available as 70% aqueous solution.
