Decyl Oleate. EcoCos™ DO by Ecocos Biotechnologies is a light, plant-based, sustainable origin, non-greasy ester derived from oleic acid (natural vegetable oil) and decyl alcohol. It offers excellent emollient properties, providing a silky, smooth skin feel and hair strands and enhancing the spreadability of formulations.
  • Due to its light, dry touch and quick absorption, it is widely used in modern cosmetic formulations.
  • It provides excellent skin compatibility, enhanced softness and a biodegradable, eco-friendly profile.
  • It offers long-lasting moisturization, improves elasticity, enhances the skin barrier without occlusiveness, and contributes to non-sticky.
  • It improves combability and shine, provides light conditioning without weight.
  • It is used in skin care products such as facial creams, lotions, serums, body oils, butters, massage oils, sunscreens, after-sun products, and lip care.
  • It is also used in hair oils, serums, leave-in conditioners, hair masks, treatments, anti-frizz, and shine sprays.
  • It is suitable for decorative cosmetics like lipsticks and foundations for improved glide, and cleansing oils and makeup removers for mild, non-stripping cleansing, and natural deodorants bases.
  • EcoCos™ DO has a shelf life of 2 years.
