XIAMETER™ PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 600,000 cSt by Dow acts as a conditioning additive and high viscosity polydimethylsiloxane fluid. It is inert, non-toxic, non-greasy, non-occlusive and non-stinging on skin. It offers high compressibility, shelf-life of 1080 without breakdown, flash point, damping action and oxidation resistance. It exhibits low reactivity & vapor pressure, low surface energy, low pour point, oxidation resistance and good heat stability. It possesses reduced tackiness, shine, softness, substantivity, water wash-off and wet combing. It provides easy combing & detangling for wet or dry hair and adds lubricious feel, softness, smoothness and gloss to the hair. It possesses water repellent, release, dielectric and antifoam properties. XIAMETER™ PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 600,000 cSt finds application in formulating hair-care products like conditioning shampoos and rinse-off conditioners.
