Sodium Polyacrylate (and) Dimethicone (and) Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Trideceth-6 (and) PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone. ACULYN™ 2051 Rheology Modifier by Dow acts as a thickening agent and emulsifier. It is an inverse (water in oil) emulsion of sodium polyacrylate in dimethicone (200 Fluid, 5 cSt). Silicone carrier provides instant perception of improved aesthetics. It gives smooth, non greasy, non-tacky and non sticky formulations. ACULYN™ 2051 Rheology Modifier possesses features including ready to use for controlling the rheology of aqueous formulations and ease of cold processing. It shows refreeze/thaw stability and efficiency at low levels. It provides perceived moisturization, sensory enhancement (light feel), texture enhancement in skin care. It is used in skin care, sun care, color cosmetics and leave-on hair conditioners and hair styling products.
