Ammonium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate. WeylCare ATBS distributed by DKSH is a thickening active with a silky-cool, light and fresh touch. It is ready to use (pre-neutralized), cold-processable, EO-free rheology modifier with good UV light tolerance and high shear stability. Exhibits bio-compatibility, sensory feel, emulsifying properties, smooth texture and moisturizing sensation on human skin. WeylCare® ATBS is a non-sticky, strongly hydrophilic, swellable polymer well known for its outstanding viscosity modifying properties over a wide pH range. It is adaptive in O/W & W/O emulsions as well as hydrogels and forms homogeneous, almost transparent gels with water. Used in hair conditioning & styling, body/ hand-, baby- & facial care and color cosmetics, sun protection, apres sun care, antiperspirants and deodorants. WeylCare ATBS produces 20% oil feasible emulsifier-free formulations.
