Supplied byDKSH- Last Updated on May 16, 2024

Polyepsilon-Lysine. E-polylysine distributed by DKSH acts as a preservative and surfactant. It is a polymer of L-lysine, an essential amino acid. It is produced by biotechnological processes including fermentation of bacteria.
  • The molecules of this ingredient are cationic, surface active agents in water due to their positively charged amino groups.
  • It is highly heat stable and is usable over a wide pH range (5 to 8).
  • It can be used alone or in combination with other preservative.
  • It is not compatible with anionic surfactants.
