Ethylene Glycol Distearate (EGDS) (Dev International)

Ethylene Glycol Distearate (EGDS) by Dev International is a surfactant with pearling effect. It enhances the viscosity of the product and can be used alone or in combination with other surface-active agents as stabilizing-, dispersing-, wetting-, foaming- and suspending agent. It is compatible with anionic, cationic, nonionic and amphoteric surfactants. Ethylene Glycol Distearate (EGDS) is non-irritating and non-allergic to skin and hair. This antistatic grade moistens the skin and nourishes the hair. It is suitable for cream, shampoos and shower cleansers. When combined with CDA, it gives better consistency in shampoos.
