It is an optimized blend of esters of p-hydroxybenzoic acid and iso-butyl paraben dissolved in 2-phenoxyethanol. Possesses broad spectrum activity; effective against gram-negative and gram positive bacteria, yeast and molds. It can be readily incorporated into formulations and compatible with a wide range of cosmetic raw materials. Exhibits an excellent toxicological profile and is non-irritant at normal concentrations.
