Custom® D-Urea

N-[l,3-Bis(Hydroxymethyl)-2,5-Dioxo-4-Imidazolidinyl]-N,N'-Bis (Hydroxymethyl)-Urea. Acts as a preservative. It has a good bacteriostatic and bactericidal activity against a broad spectrum of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It is compatible with most cosmetic formulations and ingredients; it's not inactivated by non-ionic emulsifiers and proteins. Acts synergically with other preservatives, resulting in a preservative system which gives not only a wide range of protection, but also greater preservative capacity. Used in cosmetics products.
