PPG-3 hydrogenated castor oil. Fully saturated alternative for castor oil. Excellent emollient for lipsticks, glosses and salves where it imparts glossing benefits and a pleasant afterfeel. Also serves as a solvent for dyes and aids dispersion of insoluble pigments. In massage oils, sun care and skin care it increases lubricity and imparts a persistent emollience. Effective glossing agent for hair care preparations. Superfatting agent in nail varnish removers and treatments. Also used in hair tonics, conditioners, facial-male grooming, sun protection, face, eye-color cosmetics.
